Elevating campus navigation

Elevating campus navigation

Initiated in 2019, this project aimed to improve navigation across Harvard University's expanding Cambridge and Allston campuses with an intuitive signage system. In collaboration with design firms Reed Hilderbrand and OverUnder, 23 strategically placed signs were developed, including Welcome, Orientation, and Directional markers. Each sign features a QR code for interactive and physical campus maps, marking Harvard’s first comprehensive wayfinding program.

As a key contributor, I managed client communications with Harvard Capital Projects, coordinated with the graphic design team, and developed design and construction documents. I also oversaw the construction process to ensure the implementation met the project’s objectives. The signs blend Harvard’s historical context with a vibrant modern aesthetic, enhancing both navigation and the visual experience for visitors.
